Short biography

The artist

Ivan Melillo began playing guitar at 13, graduated from Universidade do Sagrado Coração (USC), and found his main language in the transverse flute and Choro. He specialized at the Conservatório de Tatuí and built a career as an instrumentalist, composer, arranger and music producer.

He is the author of Crônicas Musicais, a yearbook containing 366 original pieces written in 2024; founder of Atotô Label and curator of the Feijoada collection. He has performed at Clube do Choro and for many years at Bar Brahma.
